| Sorry for not having updated in such a long time! Have been quite busy.
Last important news: I AM GOING TO NEW YORK!!! Yay I applied for a scholarship provided by my university and received it! Now the university (of Basel) is sending me to NYU for a research project. I will be there from September 26th until October 16th. Can't wait!!!
So don't expect an update before I come back *lol*
| Wow, there is so much to talk about. Let’s start with the sailing competition: About a month ago I participated in a sailing competition. It was the first race for the new boat. The cold and rainy weather and the lack of wind on the second day didn’t matter. It went well and we had lots of fun. I’ve put a couple of pictures up, click here to view them!
On the last day of the race I left to Mainz for a 3-week internship at a TV-station, which was really exciting! I got to produce my own short clips, watch live-productions, accompany camera-teams on their takes and even play little roles in news-reports. This internship has actually let me know that journalism is something I can imagine doing in the future.
And now, college has started its winter-semester. I have spent most of the first week figuring out what courses to take and getting my schedule ready. I believe this semester is going to be more exciting than the past two – the courses I chose sound very interesting.

| Wow, it's been a really long time since my last update ... and here is the reason:

I HAVE GOT A NEW BOAT !!! It's a fireball and i named it 'Fishbone' (surprise!). The yacht-club (five minutes from here by car) had this old boat (it had not been on the water for ten years) and were looking for a new owner. They told me that if I took care of the boat, they would leave it to me for free. So I spent about 200 hours of work and a few Euros to fix it again and now it looks just like new! I hope you understand that this is a good reason for forgetting to update my website. The picture shows my friend and me sailing it for the first time! If you want to see more pictures, click here! On those pictures you can also see what it used to look like before I started repairing it.
Unfortunatelly, finals are coming up now and I need to study for college. But in about two and a half weeks this will be over and I will have a long break that I can use for sailing and for updating my website and my xanga. So keep checking it
| Just got back from my trip to Lille and Florence. I had an amazing time! On my way to Lille I spent one day in Paris. Felt like a Japanese tourist, running from one place to the other, taking tons of pix. Then off to Lille to visit Celine (friend from TAS, haven't seen her in a while). It was great to find out what her college life is like. We even got to play soccer together, we had so much fun. I joined some of her classes. Haha, I think I learned more French during those days than in five years of school classes. It also felt great talking about the old times at TAS. After that I took a night-train to Florence (Italy), visiting another friend from TAS, Jeana! Florence is an amazing city. I spent 8 days and a half visiting museums, having the best wine, cheese and gelato (ice-cream) in the world and meeting lots of nice people at the hostel. Saw some Michel Angelos, da Vinichis, Botticellis, Bartolomeos, Van Dijks and much much more. Jeana showed me her college campus. I thought that campus was amazing. It's a little bit outside the city center, so it is very peaceful and quiet with wonderful vegetation. In the summer I will probably visit Florence again with my family and I just can't wait to get there, it is a great city!!! To all the people I met at the hostel: I had such a great time with all of you! Thanx for that! To Celine and Jeana: It was really great seeing you again!

YAY!!! My exams are finally over! They all went fine. I don't have the results yet, but I have a good feeling... so happy! Tomorrow (Sunday) I am leaving to France and then to Italy for a week to visit friends (Jeana and Celine). That means I won't update my website for two weeks, but don't worry: In the meanwhile I will be taking lots and lots of pictures that you will find on my website in a couple of weeks!!! Just don't wonder why I am not writing any comments or giving e-props!
Yesterday (Friday) I went to the international auto-salon in Geneva with a couple of friends. It was really cool - lots of expensive cars (I sat in one that costs almost a quarter of a million dollars!)
